
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the final result of the Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)/Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE), 2023 & 2024 for the year 2023. The announcement was made on 18th September 2025, covering the long-awaited vacancies for the Ministry of External Affairs (Cadre Cell), Central Passport Organization (CPO), and Office of the Registrar General of India (RGI).
Earlier, SSC had declared the final result of this examination on 10th March 2025. However, the results for the above cadres were withheld at that time due to the non-availability of vacancies. Now, with the updated vacancy details received from the user departments, SSC has released the select list of recommended candidates.
Vacancy Details for SSC JSA/LDC LDCE 2023 (MEA Cadre, CPO & RGI)
The final vacancies announced for the year 2023 are as follows:
- Ministry of External Affairs (Cadre Cell): 01 Vacancy
- Central Passport Organization (MEA): 35 Vacancies
- Office of the Registrar General of India (RGI): 19 Vacancies
All the vacancies fall under the Unreserved (UR) category.

- Candidates Recommended: 02*
- Last Selected Candidate’s Marks: 130.50
- (*One ST candidate qualified at UR standard)
Tie-Resolution Method
In cases where two or more candidates secured the same aggregate marks, SSC applied the following tie-breaking rules in order:
- Marks obtained in Paper-I
- Marks obtained in Part (a) of Paper-II
- Marks obtained in Part-II (overall)
- Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher in the merit list
Important Notes for Candidates
- The list of recommended candidates is provisional and subject to verification of eligibility conditions.
- Identity verification will be done based on photograph, signature, and handwriting as per application records.
- The detailed marks of qualified and non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the official SSC website shortly.
