Nationality

Candidates must be:

• Indian citizens, or
• Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, or
• Persons of Indian origin from select countries (with eligibility certificate).

Age Limit (as on 01 Jan 2026)

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 27 years
• DOB Range: 02 Jan 1999 – 01 Jan 2008
• Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, ESM, etc.

Educational Qualification (as on 01 Jan 2026)

• LDC/JSA & DEO (except specific ministries): 12th pass from a recognised board.
• DEO in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Culture, SSC: 12th pass in Science stream with Mathematics.

1. Register on ssc.gov.in or via the My SSC mobile app.
2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new portal.
3. Fill the application form and upload documents.
4. Pay the fee online (if applicable).
